My Yoga Journey
I was never the most flexible, and after scoliosis surgery in 2011 that left me with a fused thoracic spine, I never thought yoga would be possible for me, in fact, it felt intimidating.
Over time, I discovered that yoga helped my body become more mobile and eased my back pain. Beyond the physical benefits, I’ve seen how yoga can transform not only our bodies but also our state of mind. To me, yoga isn’t about mastering advanced poses, it’s about creating space to focus on your wellbeing within a welcoming, non-judgmental community.
I hold 200 hours of teacher training in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, guided by Sarah Campbell Lloyd and Sarah Alice Lee at Yard Yoga in Forest Row. I continue to expand my practice through workshops and additional training. My goal is to create an inclusive space where you can take care of yourself, whether you’re looking for physical relief, a mental reset, or simply a moment of peace. Yoga can help you find balance, both on and off the mat.
